The hit gardening show Garden Rescue is back for a fourth series and more magical garden transformations!
Airing every day at 3.45 pm on BBC One, the Rich Brothers and Charlie Dimmock compete to have their designs chosen by families looking to renovate and rebuild.
But throughout the fourth series, Charlie has been missing on and off and has been replaced by a stand-in… And fans are not happy about it.

Why is Charlie Dimmock missing?
Charlie joined the Garden Rescue team in 2017 and has since become a fan-favourite and one of the reasons many are drawn back to the show.
As Charlie was missing from the first few episodes of season 4 without explanation, fans were worried she’d been sacked!
But that is not the case.
The real reason for Charlie’s absence has yet to be explained. However, she has been taking time off throughout this season and replaced by a fellow female gardener…
Who is her replacement, Arit Anderson?
Arit Anderson is an award-winning designer, writer and TV presenter.
She is famous for her role presenting on BBC gardening series Gardeners’ World and writing for Gardeners World Magazine.
Arit’s start was in the fashion industry and then transferred her knack for style to the realm of gardening.

Despite all her experience, it seems that Arit hasn’t quite cut it with fans of the show.
Having two gardeners share the presenting role has inevitably led to some comparisons, with many favouring Charlie Dimmock for her endless supply of enthusiasm and hands-on nature.

The main criticisms of Arit are that she is less hands-on than her predecessor and doesn’t accomplish as much throughout the team transformation.
When is Charlie back?
Charlie has been back as a presenter on Garden Rescue periodically throughout season 4.
But it would seem that episode 20 (Monday, June 3rd) was just a one-off and Charlie will be back again on Tuesday, June 4th for more garden renovations.
