Dragons' Den tonight's products: Series 16 episode 13 - GIN, furniture, pastries!

Have you ever watched Dragons’ Den and yelled “I’m in” at the TV?

You’ve been so blown away by a pitch that you’re happy to invest an imaginary £600,000 for all but a 10% stake in the business.

Don’t worry, we’ve all been there. In fact, we’ve all been in the situation where an invention is so incredibly stupid that we have to find it online to check that it actually exists.

Here’s a rundown on tonight’s products (Sunday, January 13th).

Dragons’ Den: Tonight’s Products

As always, series 16 episode 13 will feature Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden, Touker Suleyman, Jenny Campbell and Tej Lalvani battling it out over a host of revolutionary and not-so-revolutionary products.

One of the key products likely to stir some interest from the Dragons is a bespoke pastry business from intricate and inventive chef Rocky Arkwright.

The Yorkshire chef is the owner of Mi’ Mam’s Food Company and initially launched the business by taking orders online and riding around his hometown on a push bike to deliver 50 freshly baked pies in a trailer.

Rocky was looking for a small investment to turn his miniature diner into a mobile pie empire.

Didsbury Gin

Gin appears to be the flavour of 2019 with UK gin sales rising from £500 million to £2 billion over the last few years.

Described as ‘one of the most exciting new British gin brands’ by Vogue magazine, Manchester brand Didsbury Gin could be the next big name on the market.

Entrepreneurs and founders of the gin Liam Manton and Mark Smallwood only launched the company in 2017 but already have stock in Harvey Nichols, Selfridges and bar chain The Botanist.

You can purchase a bottle online from didsburygin.com for £39.50 (700ml).

Finally, there’s a very on-point pitch from a Dutch eco-friendly furniture designer.

Deborah Meaden has already invested in an eco-friendly business in the past, teaming up with Theo Paphitis to support designer Max McMurdo.

Could she be tempted into another investment?
