Strictly Come Dancing has returned for series 18 on our screens and judge Motsi Mabuse is back. Who is her husband Evegenij Voznyuk?
Coronavirus means there have been a few changes, such as the show starting in October rather than September as usual and only running for nine weeks instead of thirteen.
However, one of our favourite judges, Motsi Mabuse, will continue to judge the dance skills of this year’s celebs! After Motsi replaced Dame Darcey Bussell last series, she has become one of our favourite judges!
The 39-year-old South African dancer, who previously appeared on Let’s Dance (the German version of Strictly) is actually married to fellow dancer Evgenij Voznyuk.
So, who is Evgenij Voznyuk? Here’s everything you need to know about him.

Meet Motsi’s husband Evgenij Voznyuk
The couple met in a German Latin dance contest. At the time, Motsi was actually still married to her first husband Timo Kulczak. However, the marriage ended and the South African dancer soon found love in the arms of Evgenij.
The couple got married in a small legal ceremony before having a massive party with a big line-up of guests on the Spanish island of Majorca in 2017. They have been married for three years, share a daughter and are very much in love.
Motsi regularly shares cute snapshots of the couple on her Instagram, with adorable captions such as “There is never enough time to enjoy what you love”.

However, Evgenij actually has no social media himself, which was confirmed by Motsi herself in her TikTok account with a hilarious video:
Motsi’s views on parenthood
When appearing on Lorraine, Motsi opened up about the difficulties of being a full-time working mother and explained how Evgenij was a very active figure in the household and a great dad.
She stated:
“The thing is, people always feel like when the man has the baby, the guy is babysitting, but it’s not like that. He is also the dad.”
Motsi also described that when she has a busy schedule she just tells Evgenij “Daddy, you’ve got daddy girl time, do your thing!”
