The Apprentice is back with a brand new series. Episode 2 airs Wednesday (October, 10th).
Of the remaining 15 candidates, Canadian Jackie Fast is aspiring to be Lord Sugar’s next apprentice.
Her name is so catchy it sounds made up, here are seven things you didn’t know about Jackie!
How Old is Jackie Fast?
Jackie was born on August 17th 1983.
She’s 35 years old and is from The Okanagan Valley, Canada.
Jackie’s Already Successful
In 2010 she founded Slingshot Sponsorship – an award-winning marketing agency.
At the end of November 2017, she resigned as a director of the company to begin a new venture.
Jackie Fast is a Good Public Speaker
A day in the life of Jackie probably involves getting asked to speak at a big business event in London or being invited to a Tedx talk.
And if she’s not working she’s taking advantage of her enviable work perks.
That means free holidays to me and you.
Jackie Fast is an Author
In October 2017 Jackie published her book, PinPoint.
The book is all about selling sponsorship – which is a strategic business tool, apparently.
Jackie shares a decade of experience through her book as she’s hailed as a master of this sponsorship stuff.
Jackie Lives in The Big Smoke
As you can imagine, Jackie’s pretty much raking in the cash already.
She happens to have a humble abode in London, with a rooftop pool.
It’s probably best that you don’t go onto her Instagram @jackiefast for fear of getting extremely jealous of her lifestyle.
She’s Said ‘I Do’
Jackie got married earlier this year (2018).
She and her partner, Chris, tied the knot in Canada in June.
She really is living the high life!
Jackie Owns a Drink Brand
The Canadian entrepreneur left her role as director of her marketing company, Slingshot Sponsorship in 2017.
After she left, Jackie created an ice wine brand inspired by her hometown.
Jackie launched REBEL Pi in September 2018 which in the wine world is a pretty groundbreaking thing to do.
According to sponsorship.org the ice wine “has aromas of tropical fruit and honey, perfectly balanced with crisp acidity, the REBEL Pi Ice Wine can be enjoyed chilled, on the rocks, or mixed to create the perfect cocktail.”

It’s a week of announcements! I’m SUPER exited to announce the launch of my new drinks brand REBEL Pi. REBEL Pi brings a little love from my hometown of The Okanagan Valley into Britain – the aggressively stylish ice wine made from Roussanne grapes. It’s available now to purchase online so don’t hesitate to pick up a bottle! #drinkREBELPi #icewine #icewines #wine #wines #winelover #winelovers #rarewine #winelove #wineinfluencer #wineinfluencers #drinks #dinnerparty #dinnerpartyideas #winetime #winebrand #winebrands #wineexperience #okanagan #okanaganvalley #okanaganwine #pentagewinery #bcwines
