The final of the 2019 Great British Sewing Bee competition will air on BBC Two tonight (Tuesday, April 2nd) at 9 pm.
Originally, there were 10 contestants vying for the 2019 crown, although those numbers were whittled down to just three following seven weeks of stitch and sew action.

Riccardo Guido
Riccardo is a 37-year-old from East London although originally from Italy.
He’s a graphic designer by trade and was inspired into the world of sewing by his mother.
Something of a recycle king, Riccardo’s proudest piece is a bomber jacket that he made from the leather of a sofa that he found on the street – now that’s a thrift!

Leah Nicholls
Leah has worked for some of London’s most recognised cultural institutions before moving into the role of an executive assistant.
The 43-year-old is all about Ltown’s diverse cultural scene and mixes in her hobbies of yoga and theatre while putting together a serious scrapbook of designs.

Perhaps the fan favourite ahead of the final, Juliet already has over 13,000 followers on Instagram.

Originally from Nigeria, Juliet moved to London in 2006 where she lives with husband Ken and their five-year-old daughter.
She works as a primary school teacher and weight loss consultant.
