Clear your Wednesday night schedule because The Apprentice is back!
Series 14 started on October 3rd on BBC One.
It’s almost time for Lord Alan Sugar to get firing. This year he’ll be accompanied by Karren Brady and Claude Littner while the show will be presented by Matt Edmonson.
One of the 16 hopeful candidates looking for that £250,000 investment is Sarah Byrne.
Here are 5 things you need to know about the recognisable contestant!

Sarah Runs an Acting Company
The Sarah Byrne Acting Academy is based in Oldham and has five out of five stars on its Facebook page.
She said:
If I can handle 70 children coming through my door on a Saturday, I can handle anything!
Sarah had some wise words for The Apprentice viewers, too: “If you have confidence and you’re hardworking, you can succeed at anything.”
You May Have Seen Her Before
Sarah has acted in TV shows Hollyoaks, Shameless and BBC’s Sorted.
The 29-year-old starred in Shameless in 2008-2009 as Meena Karib.
She used to go out with fellow Shameless star, Jody Latham. They have a daughter together named Sadie.

Sarah Byrne Was a Glamour Model
Sarah filmed topless scenes during her role in Shameless.
She also posed in nude photoshoots for various lads’ magazines.
But it looks like her glamour days are well and truly over as she competes with 15 others to get hired by Lord Alan Sugar!

She’s No Shrinking Violet
In her Apprentice interview Sarah shouted:
I talk really loud. And especially when I’m excited. It just gets louder and louder and louder!
She reckons she “can charm the pants off anyone”.
Sarah continued: “I won’t beat around the bush. If I have a problem with you I’m going to tell you.”
Sarah Has Kids
Sarah has a four-year-old daughter called Sadie.
The actress said she could well be a child whisperer.
She said:
I’m not joking they’re bouncing off the walls sometimes.
