Strictly Come Dancing: JJ Chalmers’ injuries explored!

JJ Chalmers, who is known for his role as a presenter on the Invictus Games, has joined the Strictly Come Dancing 2020 lineup.

The ex- soldier has been very open about his experience in the marines, and stated: “I should be in a box in the ground but I’m not.”

JJ Chalmers injuries

JJ Chalmers is a British television presenter, public speaker and Invictus Games medallist from Scotland.

He was injured in a bomb blast in 2011 while serving in Afghanistan as a Royal Marine.

As a result of the blast JJ suffered from facial injuries, lost two fingers and his right elbow disintegrated.

Who is JJ Chalmers’ wife?

JJ Chalmers’ wife is Kornelia Chitursko who he married back in 2015.

It is not known how the pair met, although they were spotted together training for the Invictus Games.

JJ and Kornelia share a four year old daughter together, who is called Hayley. They also have a son together.
