The Greatest Dancer is a brand new dance competition to BBC One for 2019.
The competition came to an end on Sunday, February 24th.
At the end of episode 8 the show’s hosts, Alesha Dixon and Jordan Banjo announced that it would return for 2020.

The Greatest Dancer 2019 Final
The grand finale of The Greatest Dancer took place on Sunday, February 24th 2019.
The four finalists, Ellie, KLA, James and Oliver and Harry and Eleiyah all battled it out for the top spot.
It was announced at the end of the live show that Ellie had won the 2019 show.
The Greatest Dancer Series 2
The Greatest Dancer 2019 hosts confirmed that the show will be back in 2020 on the live final of the show.
Jordan Banjo announced: “And exciting news, we’ll be back next year for another series”.
With the 2019 show kicking off on January 5th, the 2020 series should begin around the same time on January 4th.
Will the Captains Return?
It is not yet confirmed as to whether Oti, Cheryl and Matthew will return for series.
However, we’d guess that the trio will be back to coach a whole load of new dance acts.
Series 1 saw Oti win the show with her act, Ellie.
