After the first of the Eurovision Song Contests semi-finals last night (Tuesday, May 15th), we are certainly expecting a spectacular Grand Finale.

The first round of semi-finals saw amazing costumes, brilliant choreography and obviously some jaw-dropping performances.

But the star of the show was Australia’s (yes, they compete in Eurovision!) Kate Miller-Heidke.

Here is everything you need to know about Kate’s performance including the brains behind her breathtaking costume.

Who made Kate’s Eurovision dress?

Looking like she just fell out of a Disney film, Kate looked like an ethereal princess in her Eurovision semi-final costume!

The designer behind the dress is fellow Aussie Steven Khalil. He is a designer specialising in red carpet and bridal wear.

But these couture gowns cost a pretty penny and the average dress from Steven Khalil cost $15,000 in 2017.

Check out some of his most beautiful designs…

Who made Kate’s starry crown?

The look would not be complete without the starry tiara which sat upon Kate’s head whilst she flew around the stage – It completed the heavenly angel look!

It was the geniuses at Ford Millinery who made this headpiece.

They specialise in bespoke headwear and designer hats. Check out some more of their work below!

WATCH THE EUROVISION SONG CONTEST FINAL ON SATURDAY, MAY 18TH ON BBC ONE.
