The Bachelorette Australia has kicked off again!
This time 32-year-old blonde bombshell Ali Oetjen is looking to find true love.
The show premiered on Network Ten on October 10th.
Series 4 is already onto its seventh episode (October 31st) and Ali’s whittled her 18 suitors down to just 8.
Here’s what went down in episode 7…
Robert Made a Mistake
Episode 7 begins with Ali driving to meet Robert as he said he wanted to chat with her privately before the group date.
After Robert was left feeling confused and hurt that Ali’s best friend and cousin didn’t see them as the best match, he needed some reassurance.
I started to fall for Robert the moment we first met, but we’ve hit this hurdle and I really hope we can reconnect and get over this together.
Everything seemed to be patched up after their chat but then in front of the group Robert announced that he actually had his bags packed before he spoke to Ali and was in two minds as to whether to stay or not.
Ali was not impressed.
This week the Bachelorette and her potential suitors made a music video.
The boys were split into three groups for the three different scenes – the school room scene, the 50’s diner scene, and the jungle scene.
While some of the guys looked like they wanted the ground to swallow them up, gym manager, Paddy said:
I’m a very good dancer. I’m a mixture of let’s say, Channing Tatum and Jesus.
The jungle scene got a bit steamy with Tait as Tarzan and Ali as Jane.
Tait said: “Ali and I are getting close again, so I’m happy with this.”
The dance choreography was going alright until Dan accidentally elbowed Ali in the head.
Charlie Pipes Up
In episode 7 it appears that Charlie can’t handle that he might not be the one for Ali.
He was het up that Ali wasn’t going to make the ‘right decision’ and said:
She should know by now who her top two are, top three are, she should be investing in them but she’s not.
He then went and had a one-to-one chat with Ali who was taken aback by his panicky behaviour.
Paddy Gets His Hopes Up
Paddy enjoyed himself this episode. He said:
I’m having an absolute blast. I’m getting real close to Ali I think I’ve had about 16 kisses already.
And things were looking up for Paddy as his energy didn’t go unnoticed in the dance challenge.
Ali said: “Charlie and Paddy totally got into the dance while Robert just drifted into the background.”
The Single Date
In episode 7 Ali chose Todd for her single date.
Ali said when she first met Todd: “He was handsome and funny and just radiated warmth.”
On their date, they designed each other an outfit. And Todd got a rose.
The episode drew to a close and the rose ceremony began.
Ali was tearful as she gave out her roses and it came down to Robert and Charlie.
In the end, Ali said goodbye to Robert and they both wished each other the best.
