Dinner Date has been channel hopping for the past few years although it now calls itvBe as its home.
The classic dating series has been running since 2010 with a host of celebrity spin-off series along the way.
Its format is simple, with one man or woman going on three dates. The date is set at the hosts’ house, as they bid to win the competition – and the love of their date – by showing off their culinary skills.

What is Dinner Date About?
Dinner Date is a sort of cooking/dating reality TV show.
Singleton one, male or female, gets to select three out of five select food menus. Each three-course food menu has been created by another singleton who lives in the same area.
Singleton one then goes on three separate dinner dates at his chosen dates’ house, before giving them all a rating. The date with the highest score wins the competition and gets to go out for a second date, this time at a restaurant.
