It has been revealed that Marnie Simpson – of Geordie Shore fame – is to have her own spin-off show!
And what’s more, this show won’t be about the wild party lifestyle the Geordie bunch live, but Marnie’s journey to motherhood.
It was confirmed that Marnie was five months pregnant back in April with her partner of two years and former X-Factor star Casey Johnson.

What will the show be about?
The show will chart Marnie and Casey’s journey to becoming first-time parents.
With all the cute content the couple has been uploading to Instagram since she revealed her pregnancy, we are sure this is going to be an adorable series!
It seems that filming began back in April, when Marnie uploaded a story to Instagram of her being filmed by a camera crew.
When will it start?
Marnie is currently five months pregnant and is expecting her baby to be born on October 16th.
So considering that the show is about her journey to motherhood, filming should culminate after the birth of their child. But it could potentially continue after, or even continue in a second series about the realities of parenthood – here’s hoping!
If the show concludes after the birth, then we anticipate Marnie’s new show will not air til nearly the end of 2019. So it’s still a long way off folks!
We’ll have to get all of our Marnie and Casey baby news from their social media pages until then…

What channel will it be on?
Although it has not been confirmed, it would seem likely that Marnie and Casey’s show would air on MTV.
Considering that all her fellow Geordie Shore castmates who have had spin-offs – such as Charlotte Crosby – have had their shows on MTV, it seems like the most likely place for it to air.
As the network’s Insta released a congratulatory post about the announcement of her pregnancy, it would seem there’s a lot of love between them and would seem the most logical network to broadcast their next chapter.
