Our Planet Netflix Soundtrack: Composer

The soundtrack was composed by Steven Price.

He won an Academy Award for his work on the sci-fi film Gravity in 2014, starring George Clooney and Sandra Bullock.

His work will appear across all eight episodes.

Who performed it?

Price’s compositions were performed by the Philharmonia Orchestra.

This was carried out at Abbey Road Studios in London.

Our Planet Netflix Soundtrack: Ellie Goulding

That’s right!

Ellie Goulding performed an original song for the series. It’s called “In This Together”.

She was approached by Price specifically. The pop star has long established her passion for environmental concern and has helped strive for change.

Our Planet Netflix Soundtrack: Release

The Our Planet Netflix soundtrack will be available to buy on both CD and vinyl.

Also, there will be eight digital albums available to stream, one for each episode.

These will be released on the same day as the series, Friday, April 5th, 2019.

How great is this!?

The CD will come in eco-friendly seaweed packaging.

This will be the first ever release to do such a thing. A potential game-changer.

Who knows, perhaps this innovation will become the norm. All for the greater good.
