Why is Love Island not on TV?

Just be patient.

Love Island 2018 was wrapped up on July 30th 2018, having started eight weeks prior on June 4th.

The ITV2 series was a huge success, raking in a record-breaking 3.6 million viewers for the grand finale.

Now it’s a case of twiddling your thumbs until the 2019 series comes around.

Who won Love Island 2018?

Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer were crowned the 2018 winners, with Laura Anderson and Paul Knops a surprise package in second.

Kazimir Crossley and Josh Denzel were third while Wes Nelson and Megan Barton-Hanson made up the finalists.

None of the finalists are still together, however.

When does Love Island Start 2019?

Love Island 2019 will start on Monday, June 3rd.

Although this has not been 100% confirmed and may start a week later on June 10th.

Since the series relaunched in 2015, it ITV show been extended by an extra week. So, if you’re lucky, there could be nine weeks of Love Island series 5!

Can I apply for Love Island 2019?

Applications for Love Island 2019 closed on April 30th.

According to the 2018 application form, ITV were looking for “vibrant singles” from all different parts of the UK.

The chosen cast will spend time in a luxury villa, getting to know one another – but to remain in paradise they must win the hearts of the public who ultimately decide who stays.

There were more than 60,000 applications for the 2018 version and we imagine even more this time around.

Am I too young to apply for Love Island?

There are two rules to the Love Island 2019 application that cannot be broken.

First, you must over 18 years old.

This is at the time of applying. So, if your 18th birthday is soon, then you should wait before applying.

Only one contestant has entered when 18 years old, while the oldest contestant has been 31.
