It’s finally here and fans are already declaring it the MCU’s greatest and most heartbreaking film, so who dies in Avengers: Endgame?
Avengers: Infinity War was an incredible blockbuster of epic proportions, celebrating ten years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Yet, Avengers: Endgame has gone and outdone it.
As we expected though, there were some incredibly emotional goodbyes.

Who died in Avengers: Endgame?
Following the events of Avengers: Infinity War, it was clear that not all of the iconic heroes would survive the wrath of arch-villain Thanos.
And, after the trailers for Avengers: Endgame and Spider-man: Far From Home earlier this year, many fan theories speculated that Iron Man would struggle to survive until the very end.

Is Iron Man Dead?
It really breaks our hearts to say this, but the fate of Iron Man is written.
Throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we have witnessed the demise of major players and seen them return to us in triumph. None like this.
Unfortunately, he died fighting Thanos and saving the day… one last time.
The MCU began with Tony Stark in 2008; Iron Man was the first outing, and now, phase three has ended with his goodbye.
Is Captain America Dead?
Captain America is still with us.
However, he’s not as we remember him.
In the last act, he comes back as an elderly man. After having disposed of the infinity stones, he decided to live the life he’d always missed out on, returning to the present content.

Is Spiderman Dead?
Tom Holland’s Spiderman has become a bonafide fan-favourite of the MCU over these recent years.
We first saw him swing onto our screens in Captain America: Civil War. Thankfully, it looks like we won’t see the web-slinger swinging away anytime soon.
