Farrah Abraham suddenly cuts ties to Teen Mom over 'ignorance'

Teen Mom alumni Farrah Abraham hasn’t been a cast member on the MTV show for a while, but she has now declared that any connection to the franchise is no longer welcome in her life.

The mom-of-one to 12-year-old Sophia has remained in the public eye ever since she first appeared on the series, where teenage parents are seen navigating babies, high school and relationships.

However, Farrah shared a Tweet on February 9th which saw her announce she is officially cutting all ties to Teen Mom. She went on to describe the show as having a “disgusting environment” and a “hate pit of ignorance”.

The sudden exit comes after she recently began selling poop slime with her face on it to fans…

Farrah Abraham quits Teen Mom

Farrah revealed on February 9th that she will no longer have anything to do with Teen Mom. It comes after she recently appeared on the show’s Family Reunion spin-off.

She warned future teen mothers to “watch out” and said that the environment of the MTV series “has no ethics”, before going on to add that she doesn’t want any of those involved near her family.

The alumni then said that children “should not be around parents who lie and hate”, however it is not known who exactly she is referring to. Fans reacted to the announcement with some differing opinions.

One fan wrote: “I haven’t watched this show in years and suddenly I’m in a time warp. Here we are in 2022 and Farrah’s yelling about quitting.

Many were left confused about Farrah’s sudden exit, as she officially left the show five years ago. However it appears that she has now cut any connection she had left to the series.

Why she left the MTV show

Farrah was fired from Teen Mom as an official cast member in 2017 because of her work in the adult entertainment industry. She was later replaced by Bristol Palin and Cheyenne Floyd.

Three years earlier, she had appeared in the TV special Being Farrah, a continuation of Teen Mom, while her co-stars were featured in the specials Being MaciBeing Catelynn, and Being Amber, respectively.

Their successes prompted MTV to consider reviving the series without Abraham, who the other women were concerned was an inappropriate influence on their children.

This time, Farrah’s exit was influenced by what she claims to be a “disturbing environment” with “no ethics”.

Farrah’s net worth in 2022

Farrah has accumulated a $1million net worth for herself, as of 2021. She sells her own merch, including poop slime with her face on the packaging, and is a New York Times best-selling author.

She hasn’t left her resume down to her reality TV personality alone, as she has been studying law recently. The Teen Mom star also regularly does photoshoots, including a recent front page cover for L’Officiel Arabia.

In 2011, she began attending the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in Florida, where she got an associate degree in culinary arts and management. She later launched the “Mom & Me” pasta sauce line.

It all started when she was a teenager and gave birth to Sophia, where she gained fame on the MTV show. Now, she is the richest member from the OG series, as reported by The Sun.

She is also thought to have earned $1 million selling her s*x tape with James Deen.
