Since her debut, several top musicians have seen just how powerful her appearances are. From Tyga asking Blac Chyna to appear on his Rack City video to Drake name-dropping her in his track Miss Me, she’s certainly had an impact.

Blac Chyna’s stripper job
Blac Chyna started her career as a stripper working at King of Diamonds, a popular Miami club. She then became an entrepreneur who was deemed one of America’s most high-profile expectant mothers when pregnant, as per Elle.
She followed in her mother’s footsteps, who had also worked as a stripper. However, it didn’t just start there. When she was 15, she landed her first job at a McDonald’s in Charles County, Maryland, just outside of Washington, D.C.
After multiple fast-food jobs, the musician started waitressing at Hooters, before she began performing at strip clubs. Chyna stripped at local Maryland spots for two years and saved enough for tuition to attend university.
It’s where the moniker ‘Blac Chyna’ came from. Originally named Angela Renée White, the then-stripper lived on campus, attended classes during the day, and worked at the clubs at night.
Her agent, Sujit Kundu, said in 2019 that Chyna “commands in excess of $50,000 for an appearance.” She oversees an activewear company, a makeup line, and a beauty boutique named Lashed.
She refused to tour with Tyga
Blac Chyna first appeared in Kanye West’s Monster video as Nicki Minaj’s stunt double in 2010, which saw her land several other huge jobs in other musicians’ music videos. Drake also name-dropped her in Miss Me that same year!
She also secured multiple magazine appearances, including pieces in Dimepiece, Straight Stuntin and Black Men’s Magazine. It was then in 2011 when she starred in Tyga’s Rack City music video.
The musician claimed that Tyga asked her to join him on tour that year, but she refused. They began dating in December 2011 and had a son together, King Cairo Stevenson, in October 2012.
They split in 2014 when Tyga began a relationship with Kylie Jenner, leading to a number of social media feuds between Chyna and Jenner that ended when Chyna started dating Jenner’s half-brother, Rob Kardashian, in 2016.

Blac Chyna has accumulated a $5 million net worth, according to Celebrity Net Worth. While her stripper career helped her become known, it was her relationships with high-profile celebrities which launched Chyna to fame.
She has also made money from the social platform OnlyFans and is reportedly one of the platform’s highest-paid creators. With income from her businesses and own music career, Chyna has made a huge empire for herself.
However, the musician claimed to have only made a total of $1 million from OnlyFans during a lawsuit against the Kardashians, as she claimed they had her reality show Rob & Chyna canceled, far less than $20 million reported.
