Channel 4’s The Bridge saw a team work together to build, well, a bridge, but they only had 20 days to do it – with £100,000 at stake.
Twelve strangers took to building planks of wood in a bid to make an 850-foot bridge by hand.
Teamwork and trust was the ultimate test for the participants. Along the way, the team had their disagreements amongst the stressful environment.
However, there was only one winner announced as the show drew to a close on November 2nd. So who got The Bridge crown?
Who took part in Channel 4’s The Bridge?
Twelve people from different backgrounds signed up to the gruelling task.
This involved Trisha Goddard’s daughter Billie, fitness instructor Maura, restaurant manager Levi, politics student Dominique, waitress and Covid-19 survivor Tara, and carer Sly.
Among the cast was also Dreamboys stripper Zac, plumber Luke, sports instructor Rowan, paddleboarder Sarah, fashion designer Julie, and former PE teacher Sam.

Who won The Bridge?
The 28-year-old fashion designer, who lives in London, won the remaining prize money, which was £80,000, during the show’s final.
She was amongst the remaining 10 contestants who completed the bridge, before being able to walk across it to access where the cash was kept. Part of the £100,000 had been legally taken – £20,000 – by some contestants.
It comes after 4 of her team mates voted for Julie, as part of having to vote for the one person who deserved to win the most.

What happened during the final episode?
Julie had the option to either keep the £80,000 or do a 50/50 split with one of her team mates on The Bridge.
She chose to share the money with Sly, who she said is an “amazing person”. Julie added that she doesn’t know what she would have done without him.
