Coca-Cola and Channel 4 have teamed up for a brand new show, Women’s Football World.

This show is a world-first and will feature a weekly roundup of the best of women’s football leagues.

So what’s it about? And when does it start?

Here’s everything you need to know about the sporting show before it airs later in April!

UEFA Women’s Champions match: Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Chelsea.

Who will present Women’s Football World?

BAFTA award-winning journalist and broadcaster Clare Balding will lead the show.

No stranger to the world of TV and sports, Clare has covered major sporting events, including the Olympics.

So this will be a piece of cake!

Upon taking the job, Clare said:

Having more women’s football on television can only help with awareness of the players, show the scope and quality of the game around the world, win over even more fans and inspire more young girls to become tomorrow’s superstars.

Clare Balding.

How will the show work?

In every episode, Clare will be joined by a professional footballer to provide analysis on the football highlights.

We presume the show will be formatted much in the same style as BBC’s Match of the Day.

They will present all the action from women’s football across the UEFA Champions League and beyond!

Women’s Football World start date

There is no confirmed start date yet, however, it is set to air later this month.

But there are no confirmed amount of episodes as the series will run until the end of the season.

That means a lot of football content is coming our way!
