Prue Leith is one of the main Bake Off judges, alongside Paul Hollywood. But fans think something has happened to Prue’s voice…
She has tasted and tried baker’s cakes, biscuits and pastries since joining The Great British Bake Off in 2017, replacing Mary Berry.
The renowned chef also regularly sets contestants with a technical challenge during every episode.
But when doing so, fans have noticed that her voice has changed. So has anything happened to Prue’s voice? If so, what’s caused the change?

- At the time of writing, there have been no confirmations that anything has happened to Prue’s voice
However, in Bake Off’s 2019 series it was reported by the Express that Prue had been dealing with a fall she had two years prior.
She said it has taken a long time to recover and that her main worry is the fall happening again.
Otherwise, the change in her voice could be related to Prue’s age, as she turned 80 years old in February.
As reported by UK Healthcare, as you grow older, you may not be able to talk all day without your voice getting tired or hoarse.
