Married at First Sight UK has returned for its sixth season with all the romance and drama that we’ve been waiting for.
The show sees six couples paired up and married in an experiment devised by relationship experts.
The series which is currently in the process of ‘yes week’ has seen couples matched, married, honeymoons completed and the pairs are now living together in apartments in Brighton.
Although a lot seems to have happened during the series so far, we are far from the end. So when exactly will the final episode of Married at First Sight UK take place?

How many episodes of Married at First Sight are there?
Married at First Sight UK is available to watch every Monday-Thursday on Channel 4 at 9 PM. Each episode can also be viewed on catch-up via All 4.
So far, nine episodes have aired and with 21 in total, there are still 12 episodes remaining before the final.
The season which started filming on April 5th 2021, takes the couples on weekly challenges to grow their relationships. Once each couple is moved in together, they will experience ‘yes week’, where one partner is in charge of all activities throughout the week.
Following this, the couples will also spend a week each showing their partner around their hometown and introducing them to their friends and family… all of which is yet to come for viewers.
What will the last episode of Married at First Sight involve?
As this UK series follows the format of the Australian series, we can expect the final episodes to be the most drama-filled.
At the end of the experiment, the couples must choose in a final commitment ceremony if they would like to stay in their marriage, or leave and walk away from one another once and for all.
The emotional episode will then be followed by a reunion episode for all taking part in the series to come together and see if anyone made it out of the experiment still married.

Are any couples still together from the previous series of MAFS UK?
Although many couples from past seasons have since split or divorced, there are two couples expertly matched who have continued their relationships following the show.
Season five couple, 25-year-old Michelle and 31-year-old Owen are still married and according to social media appear to be very happy together.
The primary school teacher and IT manager have now been married for one year and are the only couple married on the show still together.
However, one other pair known on Instagram as @unseen_couple were also expertly matched but their episode was cancelled due to COVID-19 before they could ever meet and get married.
Ally and Paul were, however, still able to meet as Paul asked the produces for Ally’s name and details in the hope a relationship could still blossom. The couple now has a baby girl together, Penelope Carol Todd who was born in the summer of 2021 and is the first-ever Married at First Sight UK baby.
