Married At First Sight is back for a new series, and the honeymoon resort is better than ever.

Just when everyone thought there would be no reality TV to keep us entertained throughout lockdown, Married At First Sight returned to save the day.

The brand new series of the hit US dating show returned to Lifetime on Wednesday, July 15th.

If you’ve already watched the show, then you’ll know that the couples always go on an incredible honeymoon at a luxury resort, and this series’ resort tops all others – but what is the name of the Mexico Resort?

Married At First Sight season 11

There are five new couples on this season of Married At First Sight. They are Amelia and Bennett, Amani and Woody, Olivia and Brett, Christina and Henry, and Karen and Miles.

Episode 5 (Wednesday, August 12th) saw the couples head to their Honeymoon destination, where they will stay for the coming three episodes.

Given that the next episode (Wednesday, August 26th) has the title ‘I See Red Flags’, we don’t think this Honeymoon is going to go smoothly…

MAFS fans go crazy for the Mexico resort

After the couples meet for the first time on their wedding day, they are then whisked off to an exotic country to go on their honeymoon, continuing the social experiment as they get to know each other even more.

In this season, the destination is beautiful Mexico! All of the couples go to the same resort for this season as they’ve done in the past, but this time around they are given more space to get to know one another privately.

Fans of the show have been obsessed with this year’s choice, with the resort being absolutely breathtaking. One Twitter user said: “I need to know the name of the resort they went to in Mexico for married at first sight bc it is absolutely gorgeous.”

So what is the resort the couples were staying at? We’ve got all the details.

What is the Married At First Sight Mexico resort?

The resort that the couples stay at on their honeymoon is called the Xcaret resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

The Hotel Xcaret Mexico is described as a “cosmopolitan all-inclusive resort”. It boasts 10 restaurants (one of them with a michelin star!), eight bars, a huge pool scene, an on-site beach, a spa and it even has a river running through it with real caves and waterfalls.

And it’s not just the food and drink that is all-inclusive at this hotel, it also has eight different theme-park attractions that are all eco-friendly and allow you to see the natural and cultural attractions of Mexico.

This luxury resort on Mexico’s Caribbean coastline is everything you could want and more – and those Married At First Sight couples are certainly living their best lives!
