Who is Heather Fisher?
Heather Fisher is a 34-year-old Rugby player.
She was born in Birmingham, England, and still lives there.
Following on from her battle with anorexia at the age of 16, Heather dedicated her life to sports and mental and physical wellness.
Who does Heather play for?
She plays in the position of flanker.
Heather has played in both the rugby union and the rugby sevens but has also helped the England team win a Rugby World Cup in 2014.
She even competed for Team GB at the Rio Olympics in 2016 – an impressive career!

What condition does Heather have?
Heather Fisher suffers from alopecia, a condition that results in acute hair loss.
On Instagram, Heather jokingly describes herself as ‘The Bold rugby player ???’.
Currently, she serves as an ambassador for Alopecia UK and is often posting about the fundraising work they do and how to get involved.
Speaking to Sky about her alopecia, she said:
If my voice can reach out to any other person with alopecia and help, guy or girl, then I’m all about that because it is so tough.
