SAS Who Dares Wins is facing a serious shake-up for 2019.

Season 4 of the gruelling military-style survival show has been opened up to both male and female recruits, although this isn’t the change we’re on about.

SAS Who Dares Wins 2018 Location

Last year, the series was filmed deep into Morocco’s Atlas Mountains.

Recruits were faced with a dusty, humid and unforgiving terrain that stretched 2,500km across North West Africa, spanning from Morocco to Algeria and Tunisia.

Perhaps the biggest challenge they faced in series 3 was the altitude, with the highest peak at 4,167 metres – now imagine having to complete a 12-hour cardio circuit to the top of that!

SAS Who Dares Wins 2019 Location: Chile

The 25 recruits will face completely contrasting conditions when it comes to SAS Who Dares Wins 2019.

But no, that doesn’t mean a scenic beach run off the coast of Bali.

Season 4 pits contestants against extreme freezing conditions in the Andes mountains of central Chile.

There’s no doubt that you’ll be cranking up the heating in your flat as contestants plunge into freezing waterfalls and drag fully loaded sledges across icy high-altitude valleys.

Channel 4 press say:

The DS and recruits will be based in an abandoned ex-military forward operating base in the brutal and spectacular Andes mountains and will be tested to the extremes of winter warfare in the most deadly environment of them all.

They’ll face all the challenges of living and operating at high altitude, with a lack of oxygen, in freezing temperatures and unforgiving snow storms.

SAS: Who Dares Wins: Presenters

As always, Who Dares Wins will be presented by hardened military veteran Ant Middleton.

And perhaps the move across to icy Chile was Ant’s idea considering he climbed Mount Everest earlier in the year.

Ant will be joined by co-hosts Jason Fox, Billi and Ollie.
