The Circle application process explained: How to go on the show!

The Circle is a reality gameshow where contestants are moved into a block of flats. They can communicate digitally on a specially-designed app but are never able to meet face to face.

This allows the players to either play as themselves, or assume a different identity in order to win.

The Circle is currently hosted by Emma Willis, though in previous seasons Maya Jama and Alice Levine have hosted the show.

For more information on how to apply and be a contestant on The Circle, read on below.

The prizes in The Circle are one of the reasons people have been flocking to apply to appear on the show.

In first series of the show, Alex Hobern, who played as Kate throughout the run, won a total prize of £75,000.

There was an even bigger prize in the second series when Paddy Smyth and Tim Wilson took home up to £100,000 split between the two of them.
