Why did Prue Leith leave Junior bake-off?

Prue has been a familiar face for everyone who has watched the show. She has managed to judge many seasons and was set to do the same for the new season of Junior Bake-off. However, she decided to take a step back when fears of coronavirus increased.

Even though Prue had started filming for the new season, the cast and crew members decided to halt the production when the fears of the pandemic started growing. Following this, Prue decided to leave the show as her age made her more vulnerable.
