How many episodes are there until the final?
Including the episode on October 27th, there are 5 weekly episodes to go until the final airs on our screens.
In series 3, bakers had been set slightly different themes by this point, such as dairy and the roaring twenties.
So far, series 4 has baked these themes: cake, biscuits, bread, chocolate, and pastry, with tonight’s episode showing Japanese Week for the first time.

What to expect in upcoming episodes
Radio Times has revealed that episode 7, which airs on November 3, will be 1980s week. It will involve baking a quiche, a popular retro sweet treat for the technical challenge, and an ice cream cake showstopper.
Looking at series 3, they also took to baking themes such as dessert week and festival week, which hasn’t yet been done this year.
While in series 2, vegan week, spice week and Danish week were announced as themes, so these could also be something that this year’s bakers are challenged with.
The themes for the weeks after episode 7 have not yet been confirmed.
