Channel 4’s Inside Missguided takes us behind the scenes of the online fast fashion brand.
The Made In Manchester show looks at how one of the biggest fashion retailers went from zero turnover to more than £200 million a year. It showcases the work of the talented people who run the brand, including its designers, models, campaign managers and photographers.
On the latest episode, social media executive Cassie Capuozzo was seen meeting reality star Gemma Collins for a disruptive guerrilla marketing campaign to promote the brand’s iconic Rolls Royce. But who is Cassie? We spoke to her below to find out what it was like to work for Missguided!
Who is Cassie Capuozzo?
Cassie is now a 22-year-old social media and influencer manager at beauty brand Glossybox. She got her role at Missguided as social media executive just over two years ago. The Bracknell-born girl used to work at New Look and Google before she joined the team on Inside Missguided.
She is loved up with boyfriend Will Brooks, who she is regularly seen travelling with. Cassie now lives in Manchester, where she moved for her career. She told us about her other hobbies:
My hobbies are shopping online, eating out with my friends and binge reading every single issue of Vogue and Cosmopolitan under the sun!

During the recent episode, Gemma is worried that the trousers she’s wearing is going to ruin the brand’s look because they are creased. She praised Missguided for “embracing plus size” and tries to get the team to help her decrease them. Then, she poses by the brand’s Rolls Royce and in no time, the stunt receives nearly 27,000 media followers and Cassie is congratulated for her amazing work!
Cassie told us about the experience:
It was crazy! No two days are the same and the fast-paced nature is exciting but also exhausting. There’s seriously nothing like it. Gemma was one of my favourite people to work with, she just radiates so much positivity and fun!
Cassie also told us she wasn’t working for the company when they lost £26 million in 2018. She continued:
I can imagine it was heartbreaking. Everyone that works at Missguided is like a big family and when there’s a struggle it hits everyone really hard.
