Who is Inside The Bomb Squad's narrator? Channel 4 voiceover is a British actor!

The daily lives of a bomb squad team have put us on the edge of our seats since it first aired.

Channel 4 series Inside The Bomb Squad sees a determined team get called out to investigate possible grenades and explosive devices. The Monday night show also shows the group of UK experts analysing the bombs.

However there is a mysterious voice that particularly has us gripped, as he narrates viewers through the intense nature of the squad’s call-outs. So who is the narrator? Meet the man behind the voice below!

Who is the Inside the Bomb Squad narrator?

  • Jack McMullen

Jack is a 29-year-old British actor who is best known for his role as Finn Sharkey in Waterloo Road.

He has also appeared as Josh McLoughlin on Channel 4 drama Brookside from 2002 to 2003 and as Timothy ‘Tigger’ Johnson in Grange Hill.

For his acting role in Brookside, he won two British Soap Awards, including for best newcomer and for best on-screen partnership with co-star Sarah White.

Where else have we seen Jack McMullen?

Jack has been in several BBC programmes, such as The Street, The Bill and Proper Messy.

He was in an episode of the BBC soap Doctors as one half of a young gay couple who run away from their homes. He then starred in drama Moving On along with other series such as Casualty.

In 2013, Jack played the lead role of 16-year-old Paul Varderman in film The Knife that Killed Me and in 2017, was Dean Kelly in ITV’s Little Boy Blue.

Other than his voiceover for Inside the Bomb Squad, Jack has spent his year starring in comedy series The First Team on BBC Two as the role of Jack Turner.
