What is Old Wife, New Wife about?
Old Wife New Wife is an observational documentary series on Channel 5.
The series sees married couples move in with the husband’s ex-wife for one week.
The intention of the social experiment is to see if the participants can form a better relationship and move on from any past issues they may have had with one another.
How does Old Wife New Wife work?
During each episode, a married couple will move in with the husband’s former wife for a week.
At the beginning of the episode, each participant must write a list of their wishes for their future, which includes their future co-parenting relationship.
At the end of the process, the married couple and ex-wife will work on a mediation document that they are required to sign, which hopefully signals that they have resolved their issues.

The new series starts on Wednesday, April 24th at 9 pm.
