Channel 5’s latest documentary series The Gypsies Next Door gives viewers more than their fair share of drama and tension, following the conflict between Travellers and permanent residents in areas of the nation.
But in last night’s episode (Thursday, May 9th), fans of the show were more tickled than tense!
Sisters Tammy and Scarlett’s makeup look baffled viewers with its closer resemblance to a moustache than a pout.

Meet Scarlett and Tammy…
These two sisters are taking a step away from the traditional roles of women in the Traveller community.
Scarlett (18) – who calls herself the “Kim K of the family” – is determined not to become a housewife and instead is opting for a career in modelling. And her younger sister Tammy (16) is supporting her all along the way.
But that is not the most interesting thing about these sisters and it was their makeup throughout the show that really had viewers gripped.
Moustache makeup
Both sisters had opted for a rather bizarre new trend, involving a brown lip liner over the top of their lips.
This gave less of an impression of a fuller pout and more of a small moustache across their top lip!
