Team GB boxer Jordan proved an instant hit on social media following an exquisitely British gentleman-like appearance on First Dates.

There were cups of tea, overuse of please and thank you, and a heart-warming story about Jord’s love for his mum.

Raise your mug to Jordan…

Milk No Sugar

Entering the restaurant to the only boxing soundtrack there is in the world of playlists – Rocky – Jordan proved an instantly charismatic and charming character.

Mainly because of the unusual cocktail choice he threw in Merlin’s direction…

Shaking and stirring that classic Twinnings English Breakfast, the six-year singleton was welcomed by 23-year-old Thai boxer, Chloe.

Chloe went on to explain the type of man she was after, with quotes that sound a little scripted.

But if they weren’t, the First Dates matchmaker deserves a pretty big pay rise…

It didn’t take long – about three seconds – for Jordan to mention he was part of Team GB, although we’d probably all do the same if given the same talents.

The dating chat was as rhythmic as Muhammad Ali’s shuffle as Jordan pulled out the ultimate knockout blow, mentioning a tight bond with his mother.

A bond that had helped to fine-tune his nifty boxing footwork…

Jordan added: We’d sneak up to Marks & Spencers – you know they put the food out that’s going to expire in five or six days – we was just bagging it up, taking it home and living off that.”

Jordan confessed that his “mum comes first” and was adamant that his mindset to make it as a professional boxer was because of his mother.

The boxer elaborated on how he deals with his past by going into schools to provide talks, helping youngsters in similar situations.

A hero Twitter, Jord also left his mark on Laura as the pair confessed that they loved every moment of their date and were keen for a round two.
