When we think of Essex stereotypes, farmer rarely springs to mind.
Nonetheless, First Date Hotel episode 3 proudly hosted 31-year-old George, the finest farmer in Essex.
He flew across to Italy in the search for love and may have just found his wife while on a date with Louise.

Match Made in Heaven: George and Louise
George admitted that he had been single for about five years.
He’d never considered himself a “cool” catch but was looking for someone to share life’s little moments with.

Louise, perhaps, was too much of a perfect match.
The 27-year-old agriculture surveyor was a farming buff and even started the date off by adding that she “hoped she wasn’t matched with a townie”.
Louise said: Me and my friends, we rate guys on what kit they’re in. If they are in a Land Rover they kind of increase by like 100%. Put them in a tractor, maybe 20%. Put them in a combine (harvester) – ooh!

The Date
Date chat swung elegantly from putting down horses and burying them in your back garden to something called Muddy Matches.
Apparently, it’s a dating app specifically for farmers!

The two country bumpkins continued to bond over their shared love of the countryside, clicking over rural pub games such as darts and skittles while agreeing that the average age of their small communities is around 85.
There was even time for some classic first-date sexual innuendo.
You know; ploughing, drilling, silaging… all the dirty talk basics!

Seeing Each Other Again?
The date finished as the pair laughed nervously on camera when asked if they wanted to see each other again.
Nevertheless, they both said yes and continued dating while back in the U.K. Although, George announced on Twitter that things didn’t last in the long run.
