First Dates episode 5 introduced us to Kristina and Nicola, who initially looked like a perfect match.
However, after a few too many drinks, Kristina’s off-key chat turned to some rather awkward groping.
Labelled “terrifying” and “frightening” on Twitter, here’s a rundown of how the date unfolded.

Meet Kristina
Singer and songwriter Kristina was introduced into the show as she explained how she often sings to her dates, although admitting that it was “cringy as f*ck”.
The 29-year-old went on to confess that she had been single for around 12 months, despite scheduling a date night with a different woman every Friday.
Kristina explained that she often comes across as a bit “desperate” on dates… before proceeding to order a whole bottle of champagne having arrived 10 minutes early!
The Date
Kristina immediately clicked with 25-year-old filmmaker Nicola as she explained that she had a young daughter.
K said:
Around four years ago, I was projectile vomiting and having headaches and feeling very tired. My mum was like ‘this has gone too far now, we’re taking you to the doctors’.
And that is the day I found out that I was pregnant. Even my GP’s eyes popped out of his head. He was like ‘you’re supposed to be a lesbian’. I was like ‘I am… but this happened.’
Bubbles to the Head
That big bottle of bubbly started to take its toll as Kristina probed her date with questions about what she was doing for the rest of the evening.
Nicola said: “I’m going back home (Portsmouth). What are you doing? Are you staying here or going back to Sussex?”
Kristina responded: “Either or, it’s up to you!”
Nicola laughed nervously as she excused herself to the toilet, but not before Kristina slurred “I want a kiss first” while tapping on her cheek.
The End
On the phone to her mum in the bathroom, Nicola admitted that date Kristina was simply too full on.
And the full-on-ness wasn’t quite over as Kristina attempted to rope Nicola into saying that “she was the one”.
Kristina definitely wasn’t the one and ended her date ordering three more pecks on the cheek before adding what appeared to be a misplaced grope.
