Fans of First Dates were blown away by 71-year-old Ruth in episode 7.
The pensioner from Newcastle oozed confidence on her date with Tony and even had time to share her top flirting tips during a piece to camera.

Meet Ruth
We were first introduced to 71-year-old Ruth as she flirted with a rather helpless looking Merlin at the waiting bar.
Clad in pink from head to toe, Ruth requested a pink cocktail as the voiceover fella explained that she was moving from her “sexy 60’s” and into her “saucy 70’s”.
Ruth’s raunchy vocabulary didn’t stop there, as she decided to point out some key flirting tips.

Meet Tony
Ruth’s date was 68-year-old Tony, who was immediately put on the spot as he was probed about past relationships.
Married twice, Tony’s second wife was 2o years younger than him.
However, she was the one who broke his heart.
Leaving because she wanted more children, Tony was a broken man.
Tony said:
I gave all my trust to my second wife and in the end, she let me down. I felt like I failed and that I couldn’t trust anyone with my emotion.

Fortunately, Tony’s date had more than enough spunk and gusto to banish him of thoughts about his ex.
In fact, Tony may have felt like he was dating a 20-year-old again based on the sexual puns that Ruth was throwing about.

Taking on Dementia
Things took a turn as Ruth started to open up about her previous husband.
She explained how he sadly passed away following a long battle with dementia.
They had been married for over 40 years yet all of their memories were slowly washed away.
End of the Date
Ruth and Tony ended the date confessing that they wanted to see each other again, albeit with Tony still a little scared by Ruth’s sexual appetite.
And, judging by the ‘catch up’ trailer at the end of First Dates, Ruth is still looking for a man who can quench her thirst.
