A fiery end to First Dates episode five saw Cecilia fight with her date over who should pay the bill.
Both Cecilia and Viv were keen on paying the full sum of the dinner, although tensions ran high when they bickered over whose card was going to take the hit.
It was a sour end to the date that resulted in no future love life between the pair.
Things got intense, quick…
Paying the bill to be 'gentlemanly' isn't a 'nice gesture' when you point-blank repeatedly refuse to split it instead and tell your date to shut up about it 🤔 good on Cecilia #FirstDates

Cecilia and Viv
Dressed in a powerful and bold red dress, Cecilia strutted up to the entrance of the First Dates London restaurant.
The 23-year-old parliamentary researcher looked like a beautiful Bond-villain spy.
The type that would kill you in an instance using a retractable knife from her red stiletto shoe.
Cecilia was out to prove guys wrong, admitting that she is often judged her by her cover, with men brandishing her “blonde and ditsy”.
A glass of Moët in hand, Cecilia was paired with “no filter” business development manager Viv.
Not sure about Viv. He seems a bit over rehearsed.#FirstDates

Pretty Woman, Walking Down The Street
As expected, Cecilia led the conversation, busting out five continuous questions about everything from Viv’s job to place of birth.
He wasn’t really allowed to stop and breath.
Powerful C demanded her date into making a quick-fire judgement call, putting Viv on the spot with this…
#FirstDates Viv is looking like a rabbit in Cecelia's headlights.

Whatever you say, Stu, don’t lead with “a beautiful Russian spy that looks like they will kill me with a retractable knife from their red stiletto”.
Stu had three options at this point.
He was either to run away, hope that he melted into the chair, or to quip back with a decent response.
Get to London Bridge and throw yourself off of it Viv. Escape NOW. #FirstDates

A Call For Strength
The pair seemed to be hitting off reasonably well as Cecilia explained that her mum passed away when she was just seven years old.
A tough pill to swallow at such a young age, the death not only shaped Cecilia into the woman she is today but built certain barriers around her personality.
Ok, I love Cecilia- what a beautiful, strong, powerful woman ❤️💪❤️#FirstDates

Battle of the Bill
Although we’ve witnessed plenty of couples lightly tussle over the payment of the bill, none of them went in as hard as Cecilia and Viv.
Snatching the debit card from one-other across the table, it was easy to see how the duo had described themselves as “stubborn”.
Cecilia said: There’s no rational reason why a woman shouldn’t pay.”
Is this the biggest bill tug of war in #FirstDates history?! 😳💸

The pair continued to bicker long into their final piece to camera.
Viv argued that he just wanted to do something “gentlemanly” although Cecilia responded by suggesting that it is “more gentlemanly” to “think about what a woman wants in the situation”.
Although the couple agreed to a second date, we found out that nothing transpired in the end credits.
#firstdates. Viv and Cecilia didn’t make it – there’s a shock 🙄
