A brand new season of First Dates is set to launch in April 2019.
Season 12 will continue at the same London restaurant – Paternoster Chop House – with a wealth of first-time daters ushered through the doors and into the starting hot seat for our entertainment.
Question is, will regular host Fred Siriex await the punters at the door? Or are the rumours true?

When is First Dates back on TV?
The brand new First Dates season 12 will launch on Tuesday, April 16th.
It will air on Channel 4 at 10 pm and continue for around a dozen episodes.
Currently, repeats of the series air regularly on E4 at 10 pm throughout the week.
Has Fred left First Dates 2019?
Fans of the long-standing series have been worried by Fred Sirieix’s various TV roles.
Appearing on an ITV food/travel series alongside Gino D’acampo while also popping up on the BBC as a judge on The Great British Menu, there has been speculation that Fred has left First Dates ahead of the 2019 series.

However, Reality Titbit can confirm that the restaurant manager will be in series 12.
The Channel 4 synopsis for episode 1 reads:
The Bafta Award-winning series returns. Fred and his team of Cupids bid adieu to the winter blues and welcome more hopeful singletons to the First Dates restaurant. Is love on the menu?
Who else could ease the first-time daters’ nerves and chaperone them to their seats in the exquisite manner that Fred Sirieix does!
First Dates Hotel 2019
First Dates Hotel is also 100% back for a season 4 – we’re just waiting on the start date confirmation!
The Channel 4 series launched in 2017 as a sideshow to First Dates but has comfortably made a name for itself in its own right.
It looks like we are going to have to wait until August or later for the 2019 series, though.
