The Love Island guide of what’s hot!

  • Stripes
  • Pink and lime green
  • Pastel/chalk colours
  • Pattern and pinstripe trousers
  • Trucker caps

Lots of the guys have been wearing striped shirts, often in viscose or wide collar styles and more than often, short-sleeved.

Ignore friends saying that you look fit for the bowling alley and go shopping for a new thick-striped shirt.

Likewise, lime green and pink have been the most popular styles for men and women on the show. The guys tend to wear oversized or drop shoulder t-shirts, which hang off broad shoulders and look particularly good on men over 6ft tall.

When it comes to trousers, it’s Anton Danyluk in who has been wearing varied pattern trousers – think checkered or pinstripe in simple colours such as black, grey and navy.

Each of the guys has worn a trucker cap while on the show which are most likely from Rewired Clothing. These caps have a bent peak, unlike flat caps, and a popular style is a rough and ripped style, where the cap has torn edges.

Anton’s check trousers

Anton in the don when it comes to checkered trousers. All of the Love Island men have swapped out shorts of smarter trousers during the evenings, dressing their very best when it comes to the recoupling.

Check, print or pinstripe trousers matched with plain white or black T’s has been a staple look for most of the guys, and none more so than Anton.

His grey and blue trousers look just like the tapered fit suit trousers from Jack and Jones, which can be found in the sale on ASOS right now!

Michael’s pink top

Michael’s soft pink polo shirt proved a real hit in episode 10 (Thursday, June 13th) when he wore it on his date with Maura and Elma. Joe had also sported the same shirt in episode 4.

The top can be bought from Reiss but for the massive price of £85!

This trendy short sleeve polo also comes in blue to complete your smart/casual everyday look.

Ovie’s pattern shirts

Ovie has proven himself to be the villa’s style icon.

Not only can that man rock any hat he wants, but he looks great in pretty much any hat as we’ve seen on the show.

If you want to get your hands on the black patterned shirt he wore on his date with Francesca Allen, then you can find it on Asos here. The shirt is from AllSaints and costs a mega £85.

Ovie also rocked a floral shirt, as his other Islanders seem to favour. You can get the exact red patterned shirt he wore from BoohooMAN for just £9 – buy yours online here!

Love Island ‘R’ hats

Although at first, people thought the ‘R’ caps the male Islanders – particularly Anton Danyluk – has been seen sporting were made by Love Island, they are actually made by Rewired Clothing.

The caps are priced between £25-£30 and can be bought on the website.

Michael Griffiths had the pie-ing of his life during episode 41 of Love Island 2019.

The firefighter, who comes from Liverpool, donned a fresh shirt during the episode though, so at least he looked good.

Chris’ pink avocado shorts

Chris Taylor made quite the impression in the villa. From his hilarious banter to his emotional breakdowns, Chris completely won over the hearts of viewers.

But he won them over with something else as well… his sartorial choices.

One item from Chris’ wardrobe that we will never forget is his pink avocado-print swimming trunks!

You can bag yourself a pair this summer from Burton for just £6.93! They are available to purchase here.

Alternatively,  Silk Fred has a more vibrant print for £25 for a more feminine look.

But if you’re looking for something that screams ‘macho’ go for this dragon print silk-look dressing gown for £22.

In episode 13 (Monday, June 17th) Joe was seen sporting a long-sleeved grey and black camo shirt.

This shirt is actually from Armani Exchange – fancy!

You can get the exact shirt on Asos here for £80.
