Series Two of First Dates hotel has recently come to a close, however the original First Dates is back on our TV screens for a one-off special.
Those who caught rumour that a Valentine’s special of First Dates was coming to town were left disappointment on Wednesday night, with no Fred Sirieix, no London restaurant and no dating drama laid out on our screens.
Aware that most of U.K were probably out wining and dining – awkward for those reading this who weren’t – Channel 4 decided to schedule the show at a later date.
Here’s everything you need to know about the First Dates Valentine’s special.

When is First Dates Valentine’s special on TV?
The special episode of First Dates will air on February 16, 2018 at 9pm on Channel 4.
If you miss it however, you can catch up on 4 Catch Up from Saturday – we would recommend staying off Twitter if this is the case.
What is going to happen on the show?
The Valentine’s special introduces us to Issac, who is moving on from a three-year homeless spell having struggled to cope with his mother’s death.
We also witness Buddy hooking up with mortgage adviser Dominique, who is desperate to find someone willing to accept her ‘just the way she is’.

Elsewhere, retired nurse Sue has a liking for Jeremy Corbyn’s look and is hopeful that retired electrician Peter will fit the bill.

Where is the First Dates restaurant? Is it real?
Yes, of course the First Dates restaurant is real.
The show is filmed at the very swanky The Paternoster Chop House in central London.
You can book in for a date yourself, or stumble across the address next to St Paul’s Cathedral – 1 Warwick Court, Paternoster Square.
Starters are between £6 and £11, while mains are about £17 to £35.
