Following the announcement of the 2018 Love Island cast, Twitter has been working overtime to try and keep up with the cynical opinions of its users.
Although over one million people applied for Love Island series four, it appears that the select 11 have done nothing but let down the Great British public.
Anticipation to the big cast unveil was big, the sight of characters such as PT Adam has done nothing but disappoint.
Love Island Clones
Some viewers have been quick to point out the similarities between 2017 contestants and the batch of series four.
Kem Cetinay has been likened to model Eyal Brooker for his shaggy hair, while Kendall Rae-Knight is being cited as a clone of 2016’s Kady McDermott.
Talk about sticking to the same recipe…
Not everyone felt like Eyal was a spitting image of Kem, however.
The more creative types found a resemblance of Eyal to Mr Tomnus from Narnia.
Is That Zayn?
There is one slightly more glamorous lookalike tucked away within the cast, however, with university student Niall Aslam sporting similarities to former One Directioner Zayn Malik.
Destined to Fail
Due to the sheer greatness of Love Island 2017, perhaps this new series was always destined to fail.
Resurfacing GIF’s of the previous cast because you miss them already probably isn’t a good omen for the batch of Love Island 2018.
Many Love Island fans are still trying to get their heads around the numbers, with one million applicants whittled down to these 11 misfits; Jack the Lad, Hayley Hughes, Dr Alex, Samira Samira, Uni Niall, Blackpool Kendall, Big Wang Wes, Mile High Laura, Curly Eyal, Danny Dyer’s Daughter and PT Adam.
Dani Mas Dyer
If there is one reality TV personality that fans are excited to see in action, it’s Dani Mas Dyer.
Daughter of actor and Eastenders star Danny Dyer, fans are gobsmacked at the possibility of having the star of Danny Dyer’s Deadliest Men rocking up to the villa to protect his daughter.
And we all know what Dani’s favourite line of the show is going to be…
Taking a good hard look at the entire cast, however, and Twitter had one final verdict.
