The eight-part series offers a disturbing look into the case of Madeleine McCann’s disappearance. It is often considered the most widely covered missing person’s case in modern history.
Three-year-old Madeleine vanished from an apartment in Praia da Luz, a holiday resort in the Algarve region of Portugal. This was on May 3rd, 2007.
Since then, the case has been in the media spotlight and attracted broad controversy. She remains missing to this day.
