The show is filmed at in the Château de la Motte-Husson. The place is located in the commune of Martigné-sur-Mayenne, in the Pays de la Loire region of north-west France, as reported by Radio Times.
The 12-acre property makes it easy for anyone to fall in love with it. At the same time, the chateau continues to have a touch of the past. Built-in the 19th Century, the chateau has 45 rooms. Dick and Angel had purchased the chateau for £280,000. However, they did not have any electricity, running water, or heating system installed when they purchased.
Once the pair got their hands on the property, they saw it as a long-term investment. Dick and Angel decided to rework the interior and make the place a perfect fit for people to come and enjoy. With a mix of past and present, the chateau offers to bring back nostalgia while giving people a chance to build new memories.

How much does it cost to stay at the chateau?
Dick and Angel’s chateau has been gaining attention ever since the show premiered. It has become a popular spot for weddings and has been booked up until 2022. The venue offers different packages that the clients can choose from. The packages range from £19,000 and £38,000.
One can also stay and the chateau by spending around £5,000 to £6,000. However, the prices tend to differ according to the demand. To make things more magical, the pair recently installed geodesic domes, which they call “chateau under the stars.” One can enjoy this by paying £350 per night.
