HGTV’s Good Bones has been one of the most-loved home improvement shows since it arrived on our screens in 2016 and that’s partly down to the mother-daughter duo, Karen E. Laine and Mina Starsiak Hawk, who are the lead figures on the show.
In 2020, the home-flipping series returned to our screens for its fifth season on HGTV but just where is Good Bones filmed?

Good Bones on HGTV
Good Bones first arrived on our screens in 2016 as mother-daughter duo Karen E. Laine and Mina Starsiak Hawk brought their own house-flipping business, Two Chicks and a Hammer, to the screen.
We’ve followed them as they have renovated countless houses and as they and their family has grown.
Season 5 was the first instalment to arrive after Karen’s retirement from the business in October 2019 but luckily, she was still present throughout the season.
Where is Good Bones filmed?

Both Karen and Mina were born and raised in Indiana and so they have stayed close to home while filming the series which looks to revitalise whole areas of Indianapolis, rather than just specific houses.
Locations seen while filming Good Bones in Indianapolis have included Fountain Square, where Karen and Mina’s business began, the Bates–Hendricks neighbourhood and more recently, Indianapolis’s Old Southside.
Season 6 is on its way
While season 5 of Good Bones came to an end on September 8th, fans can rest easy as HGTV has already confirmed that season 6 is on its way.
The season 6 announcement came at the end of August 2020 and confirmed that 14 new episodes of Good Bones will arrive on HGTV in the summer of 2021.
Fans will undoubtedly be excited to see what season 6 has in-store as the fifth batch of episodes ended with the revelation that Mina is expecting her second child.
