The Voice: Who is Blessing Chitapa? Age, job and Instagram of the semi-finalist!

Tonight marks the long-awaited semi-final of The Voice UK 2020, and nine contestants will battle it out to get to the final next week. Meet semi-finalist Blessing Chitapa.

After a long break due to the Coronavirus, The Voice is finally back on our screens. The show returned on October 31st with a pre-recorded episode where Emma Willis looked back at all the semi-finalists, reminding viewers of their journey on The Voice.

This Saturday (November 7th) the semi-final will air, and one of the contestants is Blessing Chitapa, but who is she? Here’s her age, job, and Instagram explored!

Who is Blessing Chitapa?

Blessing Chitapa is one of the semi-finalists on The Voice 2020, and she’s in Olly Murs’ team.

The 18-year-old is a student from Dudley, and she’s no doubt the favourite to win this years’ competition.

Her parents are pastors at the Cornerstone Fellowship International Church in West Bromwich, and she’s grown up in the church surrounded by music.

In the auditions, she sang Etta James’ I’d Rather Go Blind, and Olly was the only one who turned his chair. The coach insisted that the other judges would “regret” not turning for her.

Blessing has almost 50,000 followers on her Instagram @annatoria__ where she often posts clips of her singing on The Voice, and various other photos.

In her Instagram bio, she has the word ‘baller’ with a basketball emoji next to it, so as well as being an incredible singer, Blessing also presumably plays basketball.
