Cruel Jewels is set to be taken on by Shane Ritchie in the November 24th episode of I’m A Celebrity 2020. Let’s explore the trial…
The votes were in last night when Ant and Dec spilled the news of which celebrity was chosen to do the Cruel Jewels trial.
However, the celebrities were trying to figure out what the trial would actually involve. This got fans wondering the exact same thing.
So what does the gruelling trial involve? Let’s take a look inside…
What will the Cruel Jewels trial involve?
It looks like the trial will see a celebrity look inside jewellery pots to find stars – amongst some expected creatures.
Clips shown on last night’s episode revealed that the celebrity will also have to put their head through a hole filled with spider webs, to then use their tongue to unscrew stars.
There is expected to be snakes and spiders crawling on the celebrity as they sit on a throne, and critters falling on them as they undo the pots.
Tonight will see 200 spiders surrounding the celebrity.

Who is taking on the cruel jewels trial?
- Shane Ritchie
Viewers chose the former Eastenders star to take part in the trial.
It will be his first trial that he does alone, having completed the first trial of the 2020 series alongside Jordan North.
The trial comes after a clip showed Shane and Vernon Kay discussing how Jessica Plummer was “petrified” in the recent trial.
Shane said that he has never understood why people get scared on the show, as they know what they are going in there for.
