Good Morning Britain’s resident doctor, Dr Hilary Jones, took some time out from the show in July after reporting on the Coronavirus pandemic for five months straight.

Who is Dr Sarah Jarvis?
Dr Sarah Jarvis is an MD best known for appearing on how’s such as BBC’s The One Show, The Jeremy Vine Show and Good Morning Britain.
The red-headed doctor graduated from Oxford University in 1986 – she even shared her graduation photo on Twitter in 2020! Today, Dr Sarah works in London and as well as being a doctor and a TV medical expert, she’s also an author. Dr Sarah has had seven books published including Diabetes For Dummies.
In a 2019 interview with EMJ Reviews, Dr Sarah explained that she had wanted to become a GP since the age of eight: “The GP came to my house and gave my father an injection. He was wonderfully kind to me and let me delve around in his bag: he even gave me a needle and syringe and I practised injecting my teddy bear.”
Although she’s achieved her dream of becoming a GP, it’s unlikely that Dr Sarah operates out of a physical surgery these days. According to patient.info, Dr Sarah changed her role from GP partner to GP locum so that she could take up a new role as Clinical Director at Patient.info in 2017.

Dr Sarah Jarvis is 57 years old and celebrates her birthday on December 3rd.
The doctor can often be seen promoting healthy eating, so we can only assume that she maintains her youthful appearance by opting for a healthy lifestyle.
On the subject of nutrition, Dr Sarah is also an expert advisor for diet brand Jane Plan. She provides tips on the Jane Plan website to get subscribers started, covering everything from portion size to whether snacking is healthy or not.

It seems that Dr Sarah prefers to keep her personal life private, so little is known about who she is married to.
However, we can speculate that she does have a partner as she was pictured holding hands with a man in a 2018 Twitter post.
Dr Sarah Tweeted to show herself on her way to get her MBE at Buckingham Palace. She was awarded the MBE for services to general practice and the public understanding of health.
