Some TOWIE fans were disappointed to see that the ITV show didn’t air on Sunday, November 15th. So, has TOWIE finished for 2020?
The Only Way Is Essex has been on our screens since 2010 and the soap-come-reality-show isn’t showing any signs of slowing down.
Chloe Sims, Georgia Kousoulou, Pete Wicks, Yazmin Oukhellou and the rest of the gang all reunited for a postponed series in 2020. It may have been put off due to Covid, but when does season 26 officially come to an end?
Has TOWIE finished for 2020?
As always, a season of The Only Way Is Essex wouldn’t be right without a whole load of agg, gossips, breakups and eventual makeups. Former cast members Nicole Bass and Amy Childs rejoined the group for series 26.
Rounding off one of the most eventful seasons yet, episode 18 was the final one of series 26. The news didn’t reach TOWIE fans too well as many took to Twitter to share their upset: “Can’t come to terms with it being the last episode of the series tonight“.

TOWIE 2020 cast
The TOWIE cast has seen some changes over the years. However, 10 years on, there are still some OG’s of the show still in filming in 2020. Amy Childs and Harry Derbidge appeared in the first-ever episode of the show, while Chloe Sims has been a TOWIE staple since episode 2 in 2011.

By the looks of things, TOWIE viewers are pretty vocal on heir opinions and often take to Twitter to critique the show. Many viewers seem to think that certain cast members’ time is up on the ITV show.
Is TOWIE on twice a week?
When TOWIE first kicked off, it use to air twice a week and now in 2020, that format is back! The show airs on a Wednesday and a Sunday night.
The show has now come to a close for 2020, but, there’s no real reason to worry as The Only Way Is Essex will return in 2021!
Sunday 13th September saw series 26 kick off, viewers can expect series 27 to air around March 2021.
