I'm A Celebrity 2020 app guide: How to vote for a celebrity to do the trial!

This year’s series of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here has become a massive hit, as it does every year. Here’s how to vote on the 2020 app!

Fans of the ITV series have already got a taste of the challenges happening in and around Gwrych Castle, in Wales.

A new app for 2020’s show has been launched – and viewers couldn’t wait to start voting for their favourite celebrity of the series.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to vote – by phone, text or using the app!

How to vote using the I’m A Celebrity app

Each viewer can use up 5 votes to choose the celebrity to take on a trial. Voting on the app is free – using the phone or text method will charge.

In the first episode, fans were given the chance to vote for a celebrity to enter a coffin full of snakes. Here’s how to use the app to vote:

Step 1: Go to the app or play store on your device, search for the I’m A Celebrity app and click install.

Step 2: Once installed, open the app, where you will be asked to enter your date of birth. Then scroll to the bottom and click on the ‘Vote’ option.

Step 3: It may then ask you to register if you do not have an iTunes account on the iPhone. If it does, click ‘Register’ and enter your details.

Step 4: When voting is open – as announced on the show – click on the option for your chosen celebrity. You can vote up to 5 times during each voting window, which is usually open for around 35 minutes.

How to vote by phone or text

If preferred, you can vote for your chosen celebrity by phone or text.

To vote by phone, call 09020 44 24 followed by the two numbers that represent each campmate (these are shown throughout the show).

If you would rather text, send a message to the number 644 24 followed by the two numbers for your chosen campmate.

Viewers react to I’m A Celebrity app

In the first episode, it wasn’t long until the majority of fans seemed to know who they wanted to enter a coffin full of snakes – the first bushtucker trial.

After a brief scroll on Twitter, it looked like a certain Radio 1 DJ and host seemed to have been voted for the most.
