I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! returns to screens with its first-ever I’m A Celebrity All-Stars straight from South Africa, but does it air on Saturdays?

The last regular programming of I’m A Celebrity included the likes of Sue Cleaver, Chris Moyles, Boy George, but I’m A Celebrity All-Stars: South Africa has gone all out with its cast of returning favourites.

From outspoken supermodel Janice Dickinson to jungle queen Georgia Toffolo, the campsite will see the meshing of large and loud personalities, so will viewers be able to watch their antics on a Saturday?

Is I’m A Celebrity on Saturdays?

No, I’m A Celebrity All-Stars: South Africa does not air on Saturdays. Episodes release on ITV1 and ITVX starting on Monday, 24 April, and will only air on weeknights for three weeks.

It is the first pre-recorded series, so there is no live coverage on Saturday and Sunday nights. I’m A Celeb All-Stars was filmed in summer 2022.

The last season of the regular I’m A Celeb, however, did air on the weekends, making it the first series to do so.

ITV confirmed at the time that the Saturday episodes of the show are regular episodes and not ‘highlights’ or ‘best bits’ compilations.

How many episodes are there?

All-Stars airs for only three weeks on weeknights, so there are 15 episodes in total. It is less than the regular show, which usually has 19 to 22 episodes.

Episodes start from 9pm until 10:30pm.

When does I’m A Celebrity finish in 2023?

The finale airs on Friday, May 12 on ITV1 and ITVX. It will run for 90 minutes between 9pm and 10:30 pm.

Since it is pre-recorded, there is no public participation, so fans are unable to vote for their favourite stars. Instead, the campmates’ survival will depend on their own skills as they’re pitted against each other for the gruesome bushtucker trials.

The news system has ruffled some feathers as viewers have helplessly watched their favourites leave the jungle, despite them being the most entertaining personalities.

Some Twitter fans slammed the spin-off as “not worth watching” as popular celebs packed up their belongings.
