I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here has had quite the change this year, going from its usual camp in an Australian jungle to a castle in Wales.
A group of celebrities have formed their own bubble to take on the creep critters, creatures, and challenges in a bid to win treats and food.
This year, the ITV series is happening in a new location, in a castle in Wales, instead of the hot climate of the jungle in Australia.
So what is the temperature inside the I’m A Celebrity 2020 castle?
Where is the I’m A Celebrity 2020 castle?
- Gwrych Castle in Abergele, North Wales
This year isn’t in its usual location due to the Covid-19 pandemic, so the ITV series has relocated to a castle in Wales.
It is a Grade I listed country house based near Snowdonia National Park.
The castle is reportedly haunted, with previous reports claiming that apparitions of a woman on the grand marble staircase appeared.

- Predicted low temperatures of 5 degrees and highs of 14 degrees
The castle will reportedly not be heated, despite the weather during the first 2 weeks of the show predicted to drop to 5 degrees at one point.
It couldn’t be further from the usual heat of Australia! Although, they have been given a fire to keep them warm, and have access to warm water.
According to The Mirror, crew working on set admitted that it is even colder than they had expected ahead of the celebs’ appearance on the show as temperatures dropped to 11C.
Campmates will reportedly be sleeping on thin mattresses on top of beds with iron frames and a hammock amongst a damp smell.
